Journals

Over the years I have been trialing different journals:

I love the A5 planner but it is big and as it fills up it becomes heavy.  Ideal for just using around the home.

My note book with 300 pages has been my most successful yet, but again getting heavy and is near finished.  You also cannot switch the pages around or neatly rip out if you make a mistake (I usually glue two pages together if it is a whopper of a mistake).

I am now trialing an A6 (personal) planner, it fits nicely in my hand and is not too heavy.  However I only put it together at the weekend and it is full already (has blank pages in too, so not complete).  I am looking at getting A6 folders to store the pages in that I no longer need to carry around or getting a second planner.  One for storage and one for working on.

Cost wise all of these start from around £10 and can go into the hundreds.  I pay around £20 - £40. For a storage one I would go for a £10 one.  Although I have had this brown one for a good few years now and have used it for a variety of things, so I might treat myself to a more expensive one and use this one for storage.

When getting a planner check the ring size as the more cheaper ones have tiny rings.  You want at least 2 cm from base plate.

Alternatives:

You can make a journal using your notes on your phone or pay for an app.

You can make albums in your photos on your phone.

You can use voice recording or make videos, recording your thoughts, etc

You can print photos for an album and some have writing space

Scrapbook with your photos, you can purchase 12 x 12 scrapbooks.

It is endless…
