What is Mental Heath?

Mental Health is a complicated thing to decipher as an outsider.  Everyone can do their bit but it is important that each individual learns what works for them and have confidence to communicate this.

For some it is about the head.  'Head is blocked' 'messed with my head', etc

For me (and others)  it is the heart.  My heart feels physically broken in times of mental health injury.  It feels pain and instantly distrusts.  It needs to be around limited people so it can heal again.  

It is not the situation that causes this pain/blockage, it is how the situation has made you feel.  It is credited, valued and important and no one should tell you or make you feel otherwise.  Go through the emotions fix the head or heart, do what you need to do to heal.  But most importantly be authentic and honest about it to yourself and others (even if it means losing them).
