Doing it alone

In 2008, It took 6 months to tell Rob and my close circle (including doc) that I was depressed and having Panic Attacks. It took 18 months to tell everyone else.

Although I believe I told people I felt ill in 2018, I did not articulate it well enough for people to care and ask how I was or to notice how.sick I was. After 3 months of being mentally and physically ill and wanting to end the pain by ending my life, I went to the docs and within a month (usually takes 2 years) got diagnosed with ME/CFS and a month later recieved Psychotherapy (that can take 2.5+ years). I was so ill that one of the top consultants in the country came to see me and diagnose me. People still say it couldn't have been him, and I offer to show them my diagnoses with his autograph on it (apparently he had stopped seeing patients).

Only then did everyone realise the extent to what I was dealing with.

Now that I am also diagnosed with AuDHD, apparently I am being lead to believe it is my fault because I never told anyone.

I have been told on many occasions by many people I am the queen of masking and no one does it better than me.
